Love the berry pictures!!! Oh, I so want to make berry jam now. My mom used to make the most awesome berry jam when we were little. The stains would stay in your clothes forever, but man, it was GOOD.
(These were in grandpa's yard, so that's safe, but be careful with berries below kniehoogte, when you pick them in the wild... they may ahve fox urine on them, that can make you very sick)
Or cat urine, that's why everything gets washed thoroughly before it becomes jam -- and why they only get to eat what they pick above shoulder height :-)
How are your apples doing? When I saw them I wanted to make applesauce, maybe we should swap children/wild fruit :-)
