Boxing Day

Boxing Day was a little busier. Eric's father, his Uncle Piet and his Aunt Birgit came over in the early afternoon.

Before we could sit down to dinner, though, we had to decorate all the cookies we baked on Christmas Day.

When the last icing had been licked from the fingers, and there were no more little silver and gold dragees to throw around, it was dark outside and Mama finally got a picture of the tree that she liked.
